SS501’s Kim Hyung Jun confident confession about his first kiss has become a hot issue.
During MBC Every1 pre-recording of the truth game with the question “When is your first kiss”, Kim Hyung Jun replied “When 20 years old, I had my first kiss”. In response to this, Eun Ji Won asked blatantly, “By any chance, it happened when SS501 was active?”, to which Kim Hyung Jun honestly replied, “Yes”, hence shocking everyone.

Singer turned actor, Kim Hyun-joong recently helped make a generous donation towards the women’s sport of soccer. Kim helped organize a donation made with the profits earned from the final fan event for the drama “Playful Kiss”, that was held at the Dome Art Hall at the Children’s Grand Park in Seoul on October 21st.
Kim had said he wanted to support women’s soccer in Korean high schools by giving all of the money collected for entry at the event. In addition to the profits, he also teamed up with Adidas which donated 23 million won worth of soccer gear.
The young star’s entertainment agency, KeyEast Entertainment announced the news on Kim’s official website, “Kim Hyun-joong is personally a big fan of soccer and was cheering for the country’s under 17 girls soccer team which won the recent world cup. He was thinking of ways to support women’s soccer and so got the idea to support young aspiring female soccer players who aren’t giving up on their dreams despite difficult situations or hardships. He was the one who suggested the donation idea.”

On November 3rd, a spokesperson from KeyEast Entertainment revealed that Kim Hyun Joong was invited to sing for the ‘Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games‘ opening ceremonies. He was also bestowed the honor to be Korea’s representative.
The KeyEast Entertainment rep stated, “On November 12th, Kim Hyun Joongwill sing the ‘Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games‘ official theme song, “Sunshine Again” at the opening ceremony as Korea’s representative.”
Reportedly, an official with the ‘Asian Games Organization Committee’ sent a formal invitation to Kim Hyun Joong, asking if he could lend his vocals for “Sunshine Again” near the end of September. At the time, Kim Hyun Joong was occupied with filming “Playful Kiss“; however, as soon as the series wrapped up, he departed for Beijing in secret to prepare for the opening ceremony.
Director Park Sung Jin, who extended the invitation, stated, “The council desired to host a creative and high-quality ceremony; they invited Kim Hyun Joong due to his continental fame in Asia. He will take the stage with 4 representative singers from China before the climatic torch lighting ceremony, signifying harmony between the different Asian nations.”

MBC’s ‘Playful Kiss‘ came to an end on the 21st of October. The drama went against some tough competition and suffered in the ratings department. Despite that, the show grew a small die-hard fan base and they were quite disappointed to see the show end so soon. However, that disappointment was somewhat turned around when there was news stating that Playful Kiss would continue airing via special episodes through video sharing website Youtube. The announcement also mentioned that it will have a different storyline than the TV version!
Well, the first special was recently uploaded to Youtube:
Kim Hyun Joong stated, “Since Youtube doesn’t have strict restrictions, we were able to show a steamier love scene than on television. I believe that the couple will look more natural than on TV. Youtube is a place where netizens of the entire world can share and communicate. I hope ‘Playful Kiss’ can participate in the phenomenon and become an international icon.”
Meanwhile, the special episodes of Playful Kiss will be divided into seven different videos, about 10 minutes each. The first episode will be posted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting on the 2nd.
On the 17th and 18th, making-of films including special NG cuts will also be released! Although the drama itself ended, it seems like the hype has yet to fade.
